FAQ

Ordering and delivery

Where do you ship?

United States addresses only, for now. If a shipping method does not appear for your address at checkout, we cannot deliver there yet.

How much is shipping?

Ritual kits ship free. Orders of $89 or more ship free. Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout by the weight of your order and shown in full before you pay.

How long does it take?

Orders go out within 1–2 business days and most arrive in about 5–8 business days. "Shipped" means the parcel has been handed to the carrier, not that it lands in 1–2 days.

Why did my order arrive in two parcels?

Because it was sent as two. The objects come from our U.S. fulfilment partner; a printed book is manufactured individually for your order by our print partner and posted on its own. They normally arrive on different days, each with its own tracking. Before you report something missing, check the tracking for every parcel in the order.

Do I get the book straight away?

The digital edition, yes — it is delivered as soon as your payment goes through, so you can read it and start the practice before anything arrives. The printed edition is made to order and takes as long as printing and posting take.

The ritual kits

What is actually in a kit?

The book and nine objects. Every object is listed on the kit's own page with its real photograph, its size, what it costs on its own, and which step of which practice uses it. Nothing is a surprise and nothing is filler.

Is it a gift box?

No. The objects are picked and shipped by our U.S. fulfilment partner in their own packaging. There is no tissue paper, no arrangement and no branded box. We could pretend otherwise in a photograph, but you would find out on delivery.

Is the kit cheaper than buying the pieces separately?

No, and we do not claim it is. The same nine objects bought individually from this shop come to roughly $74–81, against $95 for the kit. What you are paying the difference for is the book — a practice written for that specific sign and intention, that tells you what each object is for and in what order. If you only want the objects, buy the objects.

Why is my sign's kit different from my friend's?

The deck, the stone and the printed plate change by sign; the candle, oil, stone and pendulum change by intention. The book is written for the combination. Every kit page shows its own exact contents.

Do I need anything else — sage, incense, a cloth?

No. Every practice in the book works with the pieces already in your kit. There are optional extras offered on the kit pages because some people like them, but nothing in the book depends on them.

Do I need to know tarot already?

No. Each kit includes a full 78-card Rider-Waite deck with its own booklet, and the practices in the book explain what to do with the cards as they use them.

What we do and do not claim

Will this bring me money, love or clarity?

We make no such claim, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We do not claim that crystals, candles, herbs, tarot cards or rituals produce results of any kind. Zodiac and stone associations are traditional symbolism — long-standing cultural associations, not statements about what an object does.

What a ritual gives you is structure: a time, a place, a sequence, and a reason to sit down with a question rather than carry it around. That is what the books are for.

Is this medical, psychological or financial advice?

No. Everything here is for reflection and ritual practice. It is not a substitute for a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer or a financial adviser, and the books say so on the page.

Is there an age limit?

The kits contain candles and open flame is part of several practices. They are sold for adult use — 18 and over.

Safety

Candles

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from anything that can catch, and out of reach of children and pets. Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface, and stop when about 2 cm of wax remains. A 7-inch taper burns roughly an inch an hour.

Oils and stones

Ritual oils are for dressing candles and objects, not for the skin, and not for swallowing. Stones and crystals are decorative objects — do not put them in drinking water or in your mouth.

Returns, refunds and problems

Something arrived broken or wrong.

Email contact@newyoutarot.com within 30 days with your order number and a photograph of the item and its packaging. We will refund or replace it. You do not need to post anything back.

I changed my mind.

Contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will tell you in writing whether the item needs to come back and, if so, where to send it and what reference to write on the package. Return postage is at your cost and the original shipping is not refunded. Do not post anything before you have that in writing — and never send it to the address printed on your parcel or to our Romanian office, because nobody there can receive it.

What cannot be returned?

Opened candles, oils, incense and herbs; digital books once delivered; printed books, which are made individually for your order. Faulty or damaged items in any of those categories are still covered — see the first question above. Full detail is in our refund policy.

Can I cancel?

Yes, if the order has not gone to fulfilment yet. Printed books enter production quickly, so those may not be cancellable. Email us as soon as you can.

Anything else

Email contact@newyoutarot.com and a person will read it. More about who we are on the about page.
